Lares Llama Trek With Family Homestay 4D/ 3N

Immersive Cultural Experience While Hiking the Lares Trail to Machu Picchu

Kallpa has designed a different way to hike the Lares Trek to the marvel of Machu Picchu. This is a sustainable trek without exploiting the Quechua Community in Peru. Hike off the beaten track without camping in tents but instead spending 2 nights in a traditional Quechua family homestay, exchanging lifestyles.

This is an opportunity to delve into the world of the ancient Quechua People of Peru, who still maintain their traditional ways living in remote villages tucked away in the high Andes Mountains.

On the Lares trail you will observe snow-covered mountains, glacial lakes, llamas, and alpacas grazing in nature, and the villagers carrying on their everyday life farming and just living. Then journey by train to Macchu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
