Day 01 – Arrival in Lima
Our tour begins with your arrival in the city of Lima. Here a member of our team will be waiting for you, for the transfer to the hotel.
In the afternoon, we will make the city tour, accompanied by a professional guide; we will visit the main tourist attractions of the capital of Peru and called “the city of kings.”
Later, we will enjoy the Peruvian culinary art in one of the most prestigious restaurants in the city.
Day 02: Lima – Cusco, Inca architecture’s photography.
We start this day with a flight to Cusco, “the imperial city of the Incas.” At the Cusco airport, the photographer’s guide and the driver await you; they will be your accomplices in this adventure.
After arriving at the hotel, in the afternoon, we will tour Cusco’s most essential points to learn about our ancestors’ legacy and take our first Cusco photographs of the capital of the ancient Inca empire.
Day 03: Sacred Valley, Landscape Photography
This day starts very early, as we will visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas, an ancient land with magical places that our lenses will capture.
We will visit hundreds of natural salt pools still preserved by the communities, Maras, with thousands of years of history; we will see some spectacular viewpoints. Don’t worry about time because we will have the necessary for each landscape photograph.
Moray is another archaeological site formed by circles that keep the ancestral mathematics, with perfect circular walls built by the great architects of the Inca civilization.
We will take some time to enjoy the culinary art with traditional herbs prepared by a local family.
We will continue our photographic journey to Ollantaytambo, an impressive Inca fortress with ancient streets with Inca channels. All these places are the perfect setting for our Andean photographs.
Day 04: Portrait Photography in Peru: Pallca- Lares
On this day, we will visit the portraits of Pallca. They are found in the Andean communities of Lares and are faces shaped by the years, with the wind and the sun, considered sacred deities in the Andes.
This magnificent scenery is accompanied by landscapes, people, alpacas, and llamas. Ancient fabrics remain here, blankets of many colors made with wool dyed with natural colors obtained from plants and vegetables. Each colorful fabric, thread, and iconography expresses our history inherited from our ancestors. The scenario will be perfect for taking our inevitable Cusco photographs.
To finish the day, we will return to the Inca citadel of Ollantaytambo, where we will spend the night in one of the best hotels.
Day 05: Machu Picchu Landscape Photography.
Today, we will get to know one of the world’s wonders, Machu Picchu, an enigmatic Inca citadel. We will start the day by taking the train to the town of Aguas Calientes or also called the city of Machu Picchu.
Throughout the photo tour, we will have the accompaniment of our photographer guide, who will recommend the best places to capture them in our photographs.
We will immerse ourselves in the Inca city’s history, fauna, and flora, visiting its streets, temples, and squares. At the end of the tour, we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes for a refreshing lunch. In the afternoon, we will return by train to Ollantaytambo, where transportation awaits us to our hotel in Cusco.
Day 06: Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley Photo Tour
Today, we will leave the city of Cusco very early for you to see the colorful mountain, surrounded by a valley with red water rivers.
Our private transportation, with the photographer guide, will take us to a community on the way to the mountain. Here we will have our breakfast, cooked by a local family.
We will continue our trip to Rainbow Mountain and the Red Valley. This landscape will give us a fantastic feeling, incomparable in the world, especially for photographers like us.
Along the way, we will make strategic stops to take landscape photos in the Andes and enjoy the beautiful Vilcanota mountain range.
After exploring the impressive Red Valley, we will return to our car, have lunch, and continue the trip to our hotel in Cusco.
Day 07: Flights to Lima to take your flight home.
Today, our adventure concludes. We hope it has been an unforgettable experience for you and that you will return to Peru to take some more photographs!
We will transfer you from your Cusco hotel to the airport to take your flight home.
